Why are my lips so dry?

Here are some of the many different circumstances and environments which may be causing your dry pout:

 

  • On flights: The air inside an aeroplane is very dry because of low humidity, which can make your body susceptible to dehydration. Because of the low humidity, our bodies will try to preserve water in our skin, which will dry our lips.

 

How to prevent this: Drink plenty of water on the flight, use lip care that locks in moisture, and apply a generous amount before your flight. Ingredients such as coconut or jojoba oil are brilliant for locking in moisture.
